THE NATIONS COMPANY TURKISH GOLD IS WITH THE NATION

We share the deep sorrow of the two major earthquakes of magnitudes 7.7 and 7.6 that occurred in our Kahramanmaraş province on February 6 and were felt in surrounding provinces, affecting 10 of our provinces.

As Türk Altın Holding, we are trying to provide whatever support we can to contribute, even if just a little, to our citizens affected by the earthquake disaster that has plunged our country into mourning.

In this context;

•    3 MAKUT teams consisting of 32 professionally qualified personnel, including 17 employees from our Türk Altın İşletmeleri İzmir Ovacık and Çukuralan Operations, 7 from our Kayseri Himmetdede Operation, and 8 from our Gümüşhane Mastra Operation, reached the region on the first day.

•    145 employees, including 119 from our İzmir Çukuralan Operation, 13 from our Gümüşhane Mastra Operation, and 13 from our Eskişehir Kaymaz Operation, volunteered to support the efforts and reached Hatay/Reyhanlı.

•    1 Truck and 1 Excavator from our Himmetdede Operation reached Adıyaman along with our operator employees.

•    17 tons of cheese produced by our TR Anadolu Gıda company reached the AFAD warehouse in Adıyaman.

•    The soup kitchen we established in Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş province, serving 5,000 meals daily, has started operations.

•    Based on the needs in the region, medical supplies (medicines, physiological serums, first aid materials) have been prepared to be delivered to the region for use in treating the injured.

•    Our İzmir Ovacık/Çukuralan Operation contributed 100 thousand TL to the aid campaigns, with 50 thousand to the Dikili District Governorship's aid campaign and 50 thousand to the Bergama District Governorship's aid campaign.
•    Our company also contributed 35 Million TL to AFAD's aid campaign.
•    In addition to corporate support, our employees continue to deliver aid packages and financial support they have individually prepared to the region. All kinds of financial and in-kind assistance will continue.

•    Emergency supplies including tents, firewood, coal, stoves, and toilets for shelter and heating purposes were delivered to earthquake victims in Kahramanmaraş – Türkoğlu – İmalı Village via our aid truck from our Gümüşhane Mastra Operation to Kahramanmaraş – Türkoğlu. The requested supplies were provided, and the remaining materials were delivered to the Kahramanmaraş AFAD Warehouse.

We extend our condolences to those who lost their lives in this great disaster, wish speedy recovery to the injured, and send our best wishes to our entire nation. We will heal our wounds together.
