Major Industrial Accident Prevention Policy

Türk Gold İşletmeleri A.Ş. has an active mineral exploration program all over Turkey and its aim is to become an important gold producer in Turkey according to international standards, to contribute to the development of the gold mining industry and to the Turkish economy by using the best known technology, to ensure continuous improvement by applying the highest occupational safety and environmental standards.

Türk Gold Operations Inc. It will achieve its goals by integrating the Major Industrial Accident Prevention activities, which it will create with the Safety Management System, with the Occupational Safety, Environment and Quality performance.

Türk Gold Operations Inc.;

To take high-level security measures for people and the environment in and around the facility and to provide all necessary resources for this purpose,
To define all the activities that may lead to a major accident and to fulfill its obligations for the prevention of such accidents,
To assign personnel with appropriate knowledge, skills, training and experience for positions that will affect safety and security in operational business processes.
To make a risk assessment and to ensure that it is up-to-date in order to identify and evaluate major accidents,
Making arrangements and documentation including maintenance, repair and temporary stops and ensuring that it is up-to-date,
Define the change management process, plan changes or make arrangements for the design of new plant, process or storage facilities,
Identifies emergencies that can be detected beforehand with systematic analysis, and to prepare emergency plans for them and to review them regularly,
To monitor the performance of the system in order to monitor compliance with the targets related to the Security Management System, to determine and implement corrective actions in case of non-compliance,
Periodically and systematically evaluating and documenting the effectiveness and suitability of the Safety Management System, reviewing it by the senior management and continuously improving it,
Ensuring continuous development of personnel with trainings,
To comply with national and relevant international legislation and standards,
To follow technological developments and to continuously improve safety measures in order to prevent major accidents and reduce their effects,
