A major initiative by Türk Altın İşletmeleri to expand internationally. The foundations of a strong partnership were laid between Türk Altın İşletmeleri under the Turkey Wealth Fund and Azerbaijan state enterprise Azer Gold. Türk Altın İşletmeleri CEO Abdurrahman Alp Beyaz met with Azer Gold CEO Zakir Ibrahimov and his management team in Azerbaijan to discuss potential collaboration opportunities. Türk Altın İşletmeleri CEO Beyaz stated: "We had an extremely productive meeting. We evaluated the potential for creating a strong and sustainable synergy between our two brotherly countries in the areas of knowledge sharing in mining, technical cooperation, and strategic partnerships.
